Alpha Recording System have announced a new six-channel rotary mixer, the Model 9900. The new mixer, which the company claims is "designed with purist ideals" features six rotaries with a three-band isolator on the master, a three-band EQ and aux send per channel.
There's two VU meters, one per channel, on the master as well as the usual booth, master and phones controls. That's about it – in an Instagram post, Alpha Recording System said the mix was "a long time in the development phase, this mixer is a beautiful example of Japanese hand made precision workmanship." It'll cost $6,000 if yoiu do want to experience the workmanship behind it. Read more in the Instagram post below.
