ANNA has released ‘Let You In’, the latest cut from her forthcoming debut album ‘Intentions’. Listen below.
The Brazil-born, Lisbon-based DJ and producer has teamed up with producer and multi-disciplinary artist East Forest for the propellant, ambient single. It follows March's ‘Receiving’ and last month's ‘I See Miracles Everywhere’.
ANNA said that ‘Let You In’ is a “manifestation of joy, a call to dance across the landscape of your life, to acknowledge the events, experiences and relationships that nourish your soul”.
East Forest added: “There is something so pleasing and special about combining acoustic instruments and voice with ANNA’s rich analog textures and beats. In this song, the piano, vibraphone and voice all swim perfectly within deep melodic beats and harmonious and dissonant arpeggios. The vibe is and driving, hopeful, and grounded yet cosmic.
“I think we each found ourselves reaching for the opposite polarity of our respective musical lanes: I often pushed for beats and energy and I think ANNA was drawn to bringing out the heartfelt and ambiance. The outcome is so fun and so can’t wait for more.”
‘Intentions’ is released on May 19th via ANNA's new label Mercury KX.
