Camelphat and London Grammar link up on new single, ‘Higher’: Watch the video
Camelphat previously remixed London Grammar’s ‘Lose Your Head’ back in 2021
CamelPhat have teamed up with London Grammar for a new single, ‘Higher’, via Ministry of Sound/Metal & Dust. Check it out below.
Out now, the track is taken from London Grammar’s new 16-track remix collection released last week (21st July), and combines the group’s powerful vocals with slick production work from CamelPhat.
“Remixes from electronic artists have formed a huge part of our career and success as a band,” London Grammar shared of the link-up. “They’ve influenced our live shows and taken us into a different space. This collection is a celebration of all the above. We are forever grateful for the impact electronic music has had on our career.”
Hannah Reid of London Grammar added: “I had so much fun working with CamelPhat on this new song. “It was such a great experience. Not only are they the kindest people on the dance scene — they are also the most talented.”
The collaborative track follows Camelphat’s remix of London Grammar’s ‘Lose Your Head’ back in 2021, and features an official video directed by London-based creative duo, WAXXWORK.
CamelPhat are currently part way through a 20-date summer residency at Ibiza’s Pacha, which kicked off on 23rd May and will run until 3rd October 2023. The duo were recently joined by Jan Blomquist, Layla Benitez, and WAZE for their Tuesday night party, sharing on Instagram: “Last Week was absolutely insane, Our BIGGEST Night yet!!!”
Last month, Camelphat also joined forces with musician and actor Max Milner, who starred in 2019’s Mötley Crüe biopic, The Dirt, on a new single, ‘Hope’. The track was released via the duo’s When Stars Align label and saw them returning to their melodic house roots after a string of techno-leaning singles released earlier this year.
