French brand Devialet has launched its first high-end portable speaker that boasts 360° stereo sound and "bass that you can feel in your bones".
Devialet Mania is designed in a spherical shape with a carrying handle and comes with at least 10 hours of battery life. The speaker works with Devialet’s own app and features both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Also fitted with Amazon Alexa, it is the luxury audio tech company's first-ever smart speaker.
The Devialet Mania is priced at €790/£690 and is available from the Devialet site. Watch a demo video below.
This new model from Devialet follows their space-age Phantom series of luxury wireless speakers, which use "radical patented technologies".
Polaroid recently launched a slightly more affordable Bluetooth speaker range, along with a radio platform and music app under the new Polaroid Music banner. The four portable Bluetooth® Polaroid Music Players are designed in colours inspired by the Polaroid colour spectrum and are priced between $59.99 and $289.99.
