Duolingo is reportedly working on a music app.

According to a job advertisement seen by TechCrunch, the US tech company is "venturing into teaching music" and are looking for an “expert in music education who combines both theoretical knowledge of relevant learning science research and hands-on teaching experience". 

The prospective employee will join a "small cross-functional team" and be tasked with ensuring that the app is "well-grounded in learning science and keep learners motivated," reads the job description. "We hope you are motivated by this type of environment and excited to help us deliver the very best in music education."

No further details about the content or launch music app are known as yet but you can check the Duolingo site here for updates.

The popular mobile learning platform boasts over 500 million users has expanded in recent years to include the ABC app, which is aimed at teaching children how to read and write, and its Math app.
