fabric announces two-day outdoor festival for summer 2023, EXODUS
The London venue and label is hosting the debut edition outside of the capital next July
London's fabric is launching a new festival next summer called EXODUS.
Taking place over two days in summer 2023, EXODUS will serve as an extension of the Farringdon institution's ethos in its 23-year run. It'll be curated by the same team that runs the venue and label.
"The amazing journey we've been on with our venue continues, but now feels like a good time to do something different," fabric cofounder Cameron Leslie said. "As a team we feel we can add something that complements such an amazing [festival] scene and with our own twist. We really hope everyone can enjoy what we are planning."
Aside from the debut editions dates of 8th to 9th July, 2023, little else has been revealed about the festival. The undisclosed outdoor venue is located "just outside" of London, and there's no word yet on early line-up names. To stay up to date with information on the event, sign up here.
This festival announcement follows another launch from the fabric team this year. Last month, fabric added the Originals imprint to its label family led by EPs from Eris Drew & Octo Octa and DJ Bone. fabric also announced the return of 24+-hour parties with the new Continuum series.
Coming up this weekend, fabric will celebrate its 23rd birthday with a 30-hour bash featuring Ricardo Villalobos, AFRODEUTSCHE, Anna Wall, JASSS and more.
