Florentino debuts on XL Recordings with new track, ‘Constrictor’: Listen

Florentino has released his debut single for XL Recordings, ‘Constrictor’; a cross-cultural club track featuring Toronto-based dancehall artist Bambii and Dominican urbano vocalist artist KD ONE.
Out now, 'Constrictor' combines "the darker, robust, low-end tones central to British sound systems with the irresistible rhythms of Latin American dance sounds" for a celebration of the Manchester-Colombian Producer and DJ's roots.
“This single represents me ever so slightly opening up the floodgates on a new sound, a sound that I’ve been refining over the past few years and been waiting patiently to unleash," said the Club Romantico label founder. "It's Florentino phase 2. It's sharper, darker & more confident. Primed to rattle your speakers, 'Constrictor' is the first page in the next chapter.”
'Constrictor' follows Florentino's 2021 collaborative 'Goteo' EP, made with Kelman Duran and DJ Python under the supergroup alias Sangre Nueva. Florentino has also previously collaborated with the likes of Bad Gyal, Shygirl, Isabella Lovestory and The Martinez Brothers.
