A new podcast series looking at key nightclubs around the world and the ways they have influenced the ways that people party has landed.

The History Of The World's Greatest Nightclubs is a 12-episode series hosted by Ultra Naté that's executive produced by Paris Hilton, among others. “Some of the best times of my life have been spent inside of nightclubs,” Hilton introduces the series before Naté takes the reins.

Clubs featured so far are Detroit's Music Institute and New York's Danceteria in episode 1 and 2, respectively. Episodes drop weekly.

Part of a synopsis for the series reads: “Nightclubs do change the way we see the world. Because the pure joy of a good party has the unique ability to transcend language, culture and place. To reach people from different parts of the world and unite them through the magical, unshakable, desire to… dance.”

In recent years, focus has been placed on iconic clubs and their DJs, including Paradise Garage with Larry Levan. Berlin's Tresor celebrated its 30th birthday in 2021.
