The weekly podcast is a celebration of dance music and a springboard for discussion
Jaguar’s dance music podcast, UTOPIA Talks, has returned for a third season.
The DJ and BBC Radio 1 presenter kicked off the new series last month, with new weekly episodes exploring a wide array of topics within the electronic music scene and featuring a variety guests.
The most recent episode, which aired today (2nd August), features an interview with London-based selector and broadcaster Helèna Star, who gives the low down on exactly what life has been like as a pregnant DJ. Other guests from season three so far include Australian DJ and producer, Pretty Girl, with plenty more to come.
Other topics explored include London's new Drumsheds venue, Body Movements festival, DJ egos, and more.
Jaguar took to Instagram to announce the new season, writing: “Ur faves are back with season 3 of the utopia talks podcast! We’ve got some exciting guests and episodes dropping, kicking off with @jaguarworldwide + @kjbaxter_ sharing their Hot Takes on all things dance music this week.”
She first launched the weekly podcast back in 2021 as a celebration of dance music and a springboard to discuss the political, cultural, and creative challenges facing global electronic music scenes. Previous series have featured guests including Jayda G, Grimes, Annie Mac, SHERELLE, and Mary Anne Hobbs, and explored topics from artificial intelligence and artistic integrity, to representation and inclusivity.
Season three of UTOPIA Talks is available on all podcast platforms. Listen to the latest episode below.
