Jai Paul returns to play first ever live show at Coachella 2023
The elusive London-based producer and XL Recordings signee has never played live before
Jai Paul is set to make his return in 2023 to play his first-ever live show at Coachella.
The elusive London-based producer is due to perform on Sunday 16th April and Sunday 23rd April alongside this year’s headliners: Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, and Blackpink.
He joins the likes of Calvin Harris, Gorillaz, TSHA, Björk, Pusha T, Burna Boy, Chemical Brothers, Eric Prydz, and more artists for the upcoming spring festival, which takes place at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California aross two weekends in April (14th-16th and 21st-23nd).
Paul signed to XL Recordings in 2010 and put out two talked-about singles ('BTSU' and 'Jasmine') before officially issuing 'Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)' in 2019; the unfinished debut album that was leaked in 2013. He also released a new double single 'Do You Love Her Now / He' that year.
In 2020, he released the six-track EP 'Summer 2020' with his brother, A. K. Paul, on their Paul Institute project which featured music from himself as well as Hira, REINEN, Ruthven, Fabiana Palladino, and Pen Pals.
Last year, he marked the tenth anniversary of 'BTSU' by recreating his Myspace page and sharing archival tracks that included 'Super Salamander'. He also made a cameo in season three of 'Atlanta'.
