Jammer is taking his legendary Basement into the metaverse.
The Leytonstone-born rapper and producer has teamed up with London-based start-up iiNDYVERSE, described as a "Customer Activation Platform for the Web3 era", to create a meta-basement that aims to provide "a community-focused portal to the past, present and future of London’s underground music scene".
Jammer's Basement studio in Leytonstone is an iconic space intertwined with the history of grime, where many artists clashed, and is where grime battle series Lord Of The Mics was founded.
“The basement is a special place for me, I wanted to share its history and pave the way for innovation in ownership of the digital space and bring OGs and new wave artists in to achieve this," said Jammer. "I feel I’ve been fortunate to spearhead connecting and building a community in this global digital representation of the basement.”

Entrants will gain access to unreleased beats, guided tours, events, digital drops, and an auction where you can get "one of a kind" grime souvenirs.
Last summer, Jammer collaborated with Roony 'RiskyRoadz’ Keefe, "one of the first cameramen of grime", for an exhibition at the Museum of London exploring the history of grime. Grime Stories looksback at the history of the genre over the last 20 years and specifically highlights the East London grime community.
