John Talabot announces Phonox and Rex Club residencies for 2023
He'll be joined by the likes of DJ Fart In The Club and Rey Colino across the dates
John Talabot is taking up residencies at London's Phonox and Paris' Rex Club over the course of this year.
The Phonox residency will see him play every Friday night in March, kicking off with an all-night-long set on 3rd March. The following week, he will be joined by DJ Fart In The Club, while on 17th March, he will host Rey Colino. The final date, on 24th March, will see him be joined by DJ Sundae.
Posting about the shows on Instagram, Talabot revealed that the shows will give him the chance to take care of the club's opening hours, "which I love to do". Encouraging people to arrive early and enjoy the whole night, he also said there are "a few more surprises we are working on, and we will announce them soon".
The Rex Club residency, meanwhile, got underway on 27th January, when he played together with Dutch DJ Mad Miran. Two further dates are pencilled in at the venue for this year, on 19th May and 6th October. The guests joining him for each event are yet to be announced.
Later this month, Talabot will release an album together with Velmondo under the joint alias Mioclono via Hivern Discs.
