Check out the first track, "Cuerpo que Flota", now
NAAFI is set to release a new album from Uruguayan producer Lila Tirando a Violeta.
'Desire Path' is out via the Mexico City-based label on 8th April and sees the experimental club producer draw inspiration from her experience of neurological illness to craft a 10-track LP.
As well as weaving in prehispanic flutes and ocarinas, the album features collaborations from Merca Bae and Nicola Cruz. Listen to the first track, "Cuerpo que Flota", below.
Her second release for NAAFI, 'Desire Path' follows Lila Tirando a Violeta's debut EP 2020 release, the folk-laden 'Limerencia'.
'Desire Path' will be accompanied by a limited sale of ocarinas, which were designed in collaboration with Argentinian 3D artist Trinidad Metz. Lila Tirando a Violeta developed the unique merch idea while she was researching homemade and ceramic ocarinas during her tour in Mexico.
