Skrillex has released his new album ‘Quest For Fire’. Listen to it below.
The highly-anticipated album – out now through OWSLA and Atlantic Records – marks the US DJ and producer’s second studio album, and his first in nine years, following 2014’s ‘Recess’.
It’s been a busy start of the year for Skrillex – real name Sonny Moore – who has steadily released a slew of collaborative singles from the album since January, including ‘Way Back’ featuring PinkPantheress & Trippie Redd, ‘Leave Me Like This’ featuring Bobby Raps, ‘Rumble’ featuring Fred Again.. and Flowdan, ‘Xena’ featuring Nai Barghouti, and ‘Real Spring’ featuring Bladee.
Earlier this week, Skrillex teased the release by sharing a live DJ set of the entire album recorded from his basement.
The musician has also been on tour, performing multiple pop-up performances across the UK with friends and collaborators Fred Again.. and Four Tet.
Skrillex is set to play at EXIT festival 2023 this summer, joined by The Prodigy, Indira Paganotto, and more. He is also confirmed to headline Parklife 2023, alongside Little Simz and Fred Again..
In a recent Instagram post announcing the album release, Skrillex said: “I have no words to describe my emotions right now other than this is such a beautifully painful moment. I want to give love and thanks to everyone involved I hope you enjoy!”
