Mary Anne Hobbs announces Kelly Lee Owens, TAAHLIAH, HAAi, Nia Archives for All Queens Radio 6 residency
Kelly Lee Owens kicks off the residency on the veteran DJ's New Music Fix programme this Friday morning
Mary Anne Hobbs is bringing her All Queens banner to her new BBC Radio 6 residency.
For the month of October, the legendary DJ and broadcaster – who was given an Outstanding Contribution award at last year's DJ Mag Best of British awards – has invited four artists to join her New Music Fix residency. Kelly Lee Owens handles the first slow, this Friday, 7th October, from 1 AM to 2 AM. Following weeks will be led by TAAHLIAH, HAAi and Nia Archives.
Back in March, Mary Anne Hobbs hosted a special edition All Queens party at fabric for International Women's Day. Nia Archives and TAAHLIAH performed at the event, as well as AFRODEUTSCHE, Jamz Supernova, Elkka and Jossy Mitsu.
Last week, Nia Archives shared 'Baianá', her first new material since her March EP, 'Forbidden Feelingz'.
