More Time to release new EP from Daytimers’ Darama, ‘Chaal’
The lead single, 'Vera,' features percussion played by his family at home
More Time Records' next release comes from Daytimers collective member Darama with an EP called 'Chaal.'
Out 25th March via the London Label, 'Chaal' features three new tracks that pull from Darama's Punjabi heritage, UK funky, garage and grime, plus a remix by Daytimers co-founder Provhat.
The percussion on lead track "Vera" was recorded at Darama's home and features his family members playing traditional South Asian instruments. You can listen to it below.
On 9th April, Daytimers, No ID and Chalo are putting on the second edition of their collaborative Dialled In festival celebrating South Asian talent at EartH in Hackney. The lineup features the likes of Yung Singh, anu, Samrai, Anoushka Shankar, SUCHI, Manara, Nabihah Iqbal and more.
