Nightmares on Wax announces ‘Shout Out! To Freedom’ live album from Pikes Ibiza

Nightmares on Wax has announced the release of the ‘Shout Out! To Freedom (Live at Pikes Ibiza)' album on vinyl. Watch the full performance below.
Arriving on 28th October via Warp, exactly a year after the original studio album, the 'Shout Out! To Freedom' live recording was performed in October 2021 with a full band consisting of George Evelyn aka Nightmares on Wax aka DJ E.A.S.E, Haile Supreme, Michael Alcaras, Antonie Blakstad, Marlon Lopez, Omar Alcaide, Alessandro Doretto, and Kwake Bass.
“It was our first gig of the whole pandemic and was such a special feeling,” said Evelyn. “To be part of the history in those walls is very special and dear to me because Ibiza is my home. This live album captures that energy and vibe as well as all the wonderful people that were chosen to join us for the event”.
Speaking about the original album at the time of its release, Evelyn wrote. "S.O.T.F! is a project three years in the making, finalised over lockdown. I wanted to ask: what is freedom? Everybody's got a different idea of it, everybody's got a different concept of it. I realised that internally, we all want to be free of our shit and it doesn't matter what it is. Everybody wants to be free of something. So there are shout-outs to freedom in each song. They're all different cries and different calls but there's a coherent feeling through it. I think it's the story of the human spirit”.
