Nina Las Vegas, Mall Grab, Logic1000, more raise money for Australian bushfire relief with new releases
The artists have shared EPs and unreleased B-sides
Artists have come together to raise money for Australia's current bushfire crisis.
Since September 2019, bushfires have ravaged almost 2,000 homes, and killed at least 25 people and millions of animals. Celebrities and public figures have come together to raise funds since the fires began, including key figures from the Australian electronic music scene.
Australian DJ and producer Mall Grab has released four-track EP 'Don't Keep The Fire Burning', with all proceeds going toward the RSPCA's Bushfire appeal and The NSW Rural Fire Service. Melbourne-based Escape Artist has released the 'Bushfire Relief' EP, compiled of rarities and B-sides, with fellow Melbourne producer Lou Karsh donating proceeds from 'Against The Flames' to the Fire Relief Fund for the First Nations Communities.
Logic1000 released two tracks via her Bandcamp with all proceeds being donated to Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities and the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Wagga Wagga-born Nina Las Vegas also shared she and her imprint, NLV Records, would be supporting a number of causes, writing on Instagram: "For the next little bit NLV Records will be donating 100% of Bandcamp profits to NSWRFS, Country Fire Association and Red Cross for the sales of 2019 releases by @ninajirachi, @strictface, @lewiscancut, @swickswick & myself."
DJ Plead also recently shared a new three-track EP via Bandcamp, 'Massari Relief', to raise money for the bushfire crisis, with proceeds going to First Nations Fire Relief Fund, NSW Rural Fire Service and the Victorian Bushfire Disaster Appeal.
