Octo Octa will release her new EP, ‘For Lovers’, via Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint on 1st March.

The producer, live act and DJ – whose huge acid remix of FaltyDL we premiered last week – will follow up her and Eris Drew’s ‘Devotion’ EP and subsequent T4T LUV NRG tour with the release of her “most vulnerable work to date”.

The three-track EP opens with ‘I Need You’, which you can hear below. The track is a typically atmospheric house cut with a gorgeous synth lead and breakbeat. Described as a “bold declaration regarding her need for love during a delicate time of rapid change”, it finds Bouldry-Morrison using her voice on a track for the first time since her transition. The lyrics read as follows...
