Overmono release new single, ‘Walk Thru Water’: Listen
Capping off a huge year for the Welsh brothers
Overmono have released a new single, 'Walk Thru Water', which is out today on XL Recordings and can be heard below.
The track — a warm and introspective downtempo pop cut featuring a sample of 'Greatness' by producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist St. Panther — was first performed at September's sold-out date at KOKO, London, the opening night of Overmono's recent UK and EU tour.
Visuals and artwork have been created by renowned director and photographer Rollo Jackson, a regular collaborator with the duo who has previously worked with the likes of Pa Salieu, Danny Brown, Hot Chip, The 2 Bears, Vondelpark, and Chase & Status.
The new outing arrives at the end of a huge year for the pair. During the past 12 months they have further broadened their sound, as evidenced on the 'Cash Romantic' EP and Joy Orbison collaboration, 'Blind Date', and performed at landmark events including Glastonbury, Movement and Dekmantel festivals, alongside the first edition of Sónar in Lisbon.
