Club Moniker returns with three club-ready cuts from the Bay Area

Recently launched San Francisco label, Club Moniker, will release its second EP this month, spotlighting club-ready cuts from three Bay Area artists: suade, Farsight and Pressing. Listen to Farsight’s ‘Unlimited’ below.

The release follows Club Moniker’s explosive March debut, which touched on bass-charged broken electro, tempo-shifting drum contortion and maxed-out jungle. This latest edition boasts that same velocity as it moves from suade’s psychedelic thumper ‘Karmapa’ to Pressing’s high-speed, acid-dipped drumfunk. Farsight – who has previously released on labels including Scuffed Recordings – puts a personalised spin on ballroom dance music on 'Unlimited', with flourishes of Jersey club and Bmore bouncing through its breakbeat-fuelled runtime.

Speaking about the track, he said: “Unlimited is a high energy expression of regional American dance music styles, especially Ballroom dance music, which is often wild, raw, and percussive. The track was made with the intent to elicit joyful dance and made with admiration of the styles that influenced it.”

‘MONIKER002’ will be released on 7th July. Pre-order it here.
