Joyce Muniz will release her new album, ‘Zeitkapsel’, via her own Joycemunizmusic label this month. Listen to ‘Never Brushing The Sound’, which features London MC and producer Le3 bLACK, below.
The São Paulo-born, Berlin-via-Vienna-based DJ, producer and vocalist’s second album follows appearances on labels including Exploited, International DeeJay Gigolo Records and Permanent Vacation with a 12-track collection encompassing thumping house, EBM grit, nimble drum & bass, and growling downtempo pressure.
The album features a cast of collaborators, including Leciel, Roland Clark, Fritz Helder, Play Paul and Karl Michael. Le3 Black – a regular collaborator of Loraine James – lends his languid vocals to ‘Never Brushing The Sound’, a smoky, low-tempo stepper built on rumbling bass, flecks of guitar and a steady beat.
