Tale Of Us’ MRAK releases new EP, ‘Manifesto’, on Afterlife: Listen
The solo EP kicks off a series of upcoming releases on Afterlife
MRAK, one half of the techno duo Tale of Us, has dropped a new solo EP via Afterlife Recordings. Listen to ‘Manifesto’ below.
Described as “an extension of Tale Of Us that will feed back into the duo’s ethos”, the two-track EP marks Carmine Conte’s second outing under the MRAK alias. Pairing techno beats with uplifting synths to explore a variety of existential themes, the single will kick off a series of upcoming solo releases on the Afterlife imprint.
MRAK released his first EP, ‘One’, in 2021 which he regularly performs as part of his We Don’t Follow solo shows. The other half of Tale Of Us is Matteo Milleri’s Anyma, who recently linked up with Grimes on the new single, ‘Welcome To The Opera’, taken from his forthcoming solo album.
MRAK will be performing with his Tale of Us bandmate at Hï Ibiza this summer as part of the duo’s fourth residency at the World’s No.1 Club. Holding down Thursday nights at Hï from 22nd June to 28th September, Tale of Us will welcome guests including Rüfüs Du Sol (DJ), Mind Against, Cassian, Artbat, and Arielle Free.
‘Manifesto’ is out now on Afterlife Recordings. Listen to the EP below.
