The Weeknd has shared the new video for 'Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)', his Swedish House Mafia collaboration for the recently released second Avatar film.
Directed by Quentin Deronzier, the video is set in the world of the box office hit 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' known. Shots of The Weeknd performing cut in scenes of Pandora's Na'vi species fleeing fiery landscape into the water. The song was also produced with the film's score composer Simon Franglen, with lyric and tone notes from Avatar director James Cameron, according to a new Hollywood Reporter interview.
This is far from the first time the two popular acts have teamed up. There was last summer's joint Coachella headline slot to replace Kanye West, the Weeknd track 'Sacrifice' and its remix, the collaborative single 'Moth To A Flame', and The Weeknd's remix of SHM co-founder Sebastian Ingrosso's track with Salvatore Gannaci called 'How Do I Make You Love Me?'.
Just last week, The Weeknd released a new music video for his 'Dawn FM' track 'Is There Someone Else?', co-produced by Oneohtrix Point Never.
