Effy debuts on Steel City Dance Discs with ‘Mad’: Listen
The new track is the first taste of Effy's forthcoming EP on the label
Effy has dropped a new track ‘Mad’, via Steel City Dance Discs. Check it out below.
'Mad' is the first single from her forthcoming EP, which will be her debut on the London-based label.
The new release follows the London-based producer’s 2022 four-track EP, ‘Not What It Seems’, which featured the singles ‘Not Yours’, ‘Trip To Reality’, ‘Vexed', as well as ‘Run It’ with Mall Grab.
Effy and Mall Grab also linked up to release ‘FMG’ back in 2021. The two label heads are set to play at the Steel City Dance Discs party at Mint Warehouse in Leeds on 7th October 2023.
Speaking on the debut, Steel City Dance Discs said on Instagram: “With its ominous rave stabs and infectious vocal work, ‘Mad’ is the first taste of Effy’s forthcoming EP on Steel City Dance Discs.”
This isn’t the first debut to appear on the label this summer. London-based producer IMOGEN also made her first appearance in July with her new EP ‘Albert Road’.
It’s been a busy summer for Effy who has recently played shows in Berlin alongside Peggy Gou, Ibiza alongside Fisher, the Printworks closing weekend, and more.
Effy was also previously featured among some of DJ Mag's emerging artists to watch in late 2020.
