GoFundMe launched to help UK DJ Wheels play his debut Ibiza set
It's hoped that money raised can help cover additional costs associated with getting the DJ, who has cerebral palsy, to the party island
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help fund DJ Wheels' travels to Ibiza for his debut set on the White Isle.
The DJ, real name Adam Burden, has cerebral palsy but hasn't allowed that to hamper his efforts in establishing himself as a DJ. Since finally getting the disability support he had long needed three years ago, he has played a number of sets at festivals and parties around the UK as well as releasing his own productions.
"Adam’s ultimate dream is to DJ in Ibiza and he has finally been offered this opportunity, by being given the chance to perform at the Ocean Awareness Weekender in October," reads a note shared via the GoFundMe page.
Adam is unable to travel, however, without additional support from his care team, so he needs funding to be able to pay for the extra costs associated with his disability.
The GoFundMe page adds: "For Adam to live his dream, he needs £4000. This will pay for specialist care equipment in Ibiza, along with travel and expenses cost for his two amazing PAs that enable him to live life the way he wants to live it."
