Hamdi releases new single, ‘Counting’: Listen

Hamdi has shared new single ‘Counting'. Listen to it below.
The Skrillex co-signed DJ and producer follows up his DJ Mag Best of British award-nominated 2022 track ‘Skanka’ with another dancefloor ripper, which is out now on Zeds Dead's label Deadbeats. The track features a classic sample of vocalist Princess Superstar's 'Perfect', which many will remember from its mash-up with Mason's 'Exceeder', released in 2006.
Hamdi said: “Been so excited to release this one for a while. Had a great time working with such an iconic vocal from Princess Superstar.”
The rising star from Oxford has been celebrated for his distinct fusion of dubstep, UKG and grime, with 'Skanka' being described by DJ Mag as a modern classic in its tracks of the year round up in 2022.
He added in a post shared to Instagram: “Can’t thank you all enough for the love you’ve shown this track, it’s been insane - never had this amount of support for a track pre-release before! It’s been overwhelming to see you all going crazy to this tune.”
Meanwhile, Hamdi has a collaboration with Zeds Dead in the pipeline and will make his Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut for Deadrocks 9 this July.
