After a slower pace of life was enforced on us all over the last few years, Australian producer and DJ Alison Wonderland has made up for lost time and is back in full force. Having shifted the focus from touring while the clubs were closed into songwriting and music production, this year she released her third studio album, ‘Loner’ via EMI. It dances between trap, electronica and electro-pop, travelling through different themes from love to drugs, her voice layered across bassbin-heavy basslines and ethereal breakdowns. Now that the touring is back she’s had a busy year playing some of the biggest clubs and festivals across the USA, including Breakaway in Kansas City and HARD Summer Music Festival in California. This year she also launched her side project Whyte Fang, her industrial electronica alter ego, performing her debut show at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. The first single ‘TIDES’ came in 2021, and this year she followed up with ‘333’, a fast-paced track with distorted kicks that channels trap and industrial techno.
