"We learned to enjoy every single minute of every gig," say Marcos and Lucas Schmidt, aka Dubdogz, of the last 12 months. The twins are right up there with some of Brazil's most internationally acclaimed electronic outfits and are known for bringing freshness to the Brazilian bass sound. They release on STMPD RCRDS and Armada and have a worldwide record deal with Spinnin’ Records, and in the last year released tunes like 'Give It Up' with Firebeatz and 'Are You Down' with Selva. "Dubdogz has a unique sound design," they reckon. "But we are always rebuilding it and looking to find a mix between tech-house, bass house and mainstream music. That is what excites us in the studio nowadays."
One of their highlights was playing the main stages of both EDC in Mexico and Orlando, where they turned in standout sets on a large scale. The future for this pair involves launching a brand new radio show, so stay tuned for an even deeper insight into their sound.
