Fluance has launched an affordable high-fidelity turntable designed to deliver “superior sound quality.”
The RT81+ turntable — an update on Fluance's RT81 — has been designed "to stand out and last for decades to come", and features several features that "reflect Fluance's commitment to superior sound quality, upgradeability, and customer accessibility,” according to product manager Justin Koetsier.
Among the key features are an Audio Technica VM95E cartridge with a diamond elliptical stylus, an upgraded dampened aluminium anti-resonant platter, a built-in Texas Instruments phono preamp and gold-plated RCA connections.
The idea is that users can start with the affordable RT81+ as a base model and" build it up into a high-end model over time".
Priced at £259.49 / $299.99, the RT81+ is available in Piano Black, Piano White and Natural Walnut. Find out more on the Fluance site here.
