You only need to watch a little of the KAAZE TV episode, ’First Show In My Hometown’, to get a feel for how beloved Sweden’s rising progressive star currently is. Putting the work in for well over a decade now means current status is best described as just desserts — pay-off for dedicating so many hours, and so much of himself, to both the scene and sound, gradually building a following since before the legendary Tiesto first picked up on his talent through a 2012 demo.

By 2019, the pride of Helsingborg — his hometown, and the closest Swedish city to neighbouring Denmark — was dropping his own chart-topping anthems like ‘I Should Have Walked Away’, which passed the 50 million stream mark this summer, at which point the artist was in the midst of an extensive tour taking him everywhere from Amsterdam to Phuket. Meanwhile, that recent Steve Aoki collaboration, ‘Whole Again’, featuring John Martyn, looks set to enjoy similar longevity, cementing the fact that this name is now a main stage headliner.
