Oneohtrix Point Never has announced a new album. 'Again' will arrive on 29th September via Warp Records. You can watch the trailer below, and pre-order here.

The LP is described as a reflection on his own musical identity during formative adult years, and has been described as an "illogical period piece" based on memories and false recollections of that period. Artwork for the record features an original sculpture by Matt Falkbakken, photographed by Vegard Kleven, with packaging developed by Memory, a new joint project between Oneohtrix Point Never, AKA Daniel Lopatin, and Elijah Funk and Alix Ross, of Online Ceramics.

'Again' will be the first new full length musical outing from the US experimental artist since 2020's critically acclaimed 'Magic Oneohtrix Point Never', and follows a slew of high profile collaborative and curatorial undertakings. These include a role as Musical Director for The Weeknd's 2021 Super Bowl Half Time concert, after executive producing and guest appearing on the singer, rapper and producer's full length effort, 'Dawn FM'.

In recent years, Oneohtrix Point Never also composed and performed tracks for fashion house Chanel's Métiers d'art show, and has picked up credits for work alongside James Blake, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, David Byrne, FKA Twigs, Rosalia and the late-Ryuichi Sakamoto. In the past few months, the producer has toured a new solo concept, reworking archive tracks alongside fresh material with live visuals by Nate Boyce. A new concert set up has been confirmed for 2024, involving video artist Freeka Tet.
