The Concourse Project’s story is one of growth — a fact reflected in its modular design, which lends itself to intimate club nights as well as multi-stage house and techno festivals, such as Seismic Dance Event, RealMusic Events’ signature gathering. The company’s founders, Kelly Gray and Andrew Parsons, discovered the 18,000-square-foot warehouse as “just a blank shell” before Covid hit, and alongside their creative partner, David Brinkley, watched their dream take shape. Since opening its doors in 2021, The Concourse Project has welcomed acts like Eric Prydz, RÜFÜS DU SOL and Charlotte de Witte, alongside an impressive list of rising local DJs, but in line with the spirit of the physical space, offerings are ever-expanding to include live bands, bass nights and more. “What feels extra unique is the Austin and Texas communities have been along for the ride with us as we consider the whole venue a project, in which we morph, upgrade, and elevate together over time,” says Gray.
