Pioneer DJ's new all-in-one kit, Opus-Quad, works with Serato software.
The professional-tier DJ system has been updated to be compatible with Serato DJ Pro via a PC or Mac computer connected by a USB cable. The Opus-Quad's screen interface can display and scroll the Serato library, with features like Hot Cues, scratching, various effects and more also available.
This update comes weeks after Pioneer DJ's parent company, AlphaTheta Corporation, acquired Serato Audio Research Limited, though the two music tech brands have been working together on integrations since the 2012 Pioneer DDJ-SX controller.
At the end of June, Pioneer DJ announced the flagship CDJ-3000 could stream music direct from Beatport.
