Lee Gamble announces new album, 'Models', on Hyperdub
The album sees the UK producer explore synthetic voices
Lee Gamble is releasing a new album through Hyperdub, called 'Models'.
Due out on 20th October, the seven-track album explores synthetic voices, as well as "dream pop, SoundCloud rap and trance", according to a press release. It adds that Gamble's process for making the album saw him feed "loose phrases into a series of neural networks which would attempt to mimic them and sing them back".
You can check out the album's lead track, 'She's Not', below.
This is Gamble's second full-length album for Hyperdub, following 2017's 'Mnestic Pressure'. He also released a triptych of EPs – 'Exhaust', 'In A Paraventral Scale' and 'A Million Pieces Of You' – through the label between 2019 and 2021.
